Our client is a global leader in the packaging, paper, glass, and resource recovery industries, providing high quality, innovative and sustainable packaging products and solutions in Australia. Recent growth has created opportunities for HC & MC Drivers to join their business. 

Location:
Canning Vale / O'Connor

Roster:
Monday to Friday - (Approx. 45 to 55 hours per week) - Day Shift

Pay Rate:
$38 to $39 per hour + Penalties + Super
  
Duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Operating and driving heavy vehicles, both single and multiple trailers.
  • Transporting goods safely and efficiently over designated routes. (Multi drop deliveries in Perth metro area)
  • Sign for their loads, including pre-departure documentation.
  • Interact with customers upon delivery.
  • Complying with all traffic laws and regulations related to heavy vehicle operation.
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
  • Maintaining accurate records of driving hours, rest periods, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Monitoring vehicle performance and promptly reporting mechanical issues.
  • Adhering to company policies and safety procedures while on the road.
  • Interacting professionally with customers and other road users.
  • Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods while managing delivery schedules.
Requirements:
  • Comfortable couple/decoupling trailers (essential)
  • Comfortable reversing (essential)
  • Be physically fit.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Friendly manner for customer interaction.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Willing to assist other drivers.
  • Able to follow instructions.
  • Flexibility to cover other sites when required (Canning Vale and O'Connor)
  • Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
