Temporary staffing and labour hire are a core part of our business. We employ high volumes of contingent workers in every state, many of whom work in high risk industries. For this reason, we have created and implemented unique, innovative and robust workplace health and safety procedures designed to mitigate risk for our clients and protect their businesses best interests.
Quest Personnel employ an internal safety and compliance team led by qualified employment lawyers in each of our states of operation. These OH&S and legal professionals are tasked with implementing our safety procedure nationally and monitoring the compliance across all sites. We invest a significant amount of our own resources in our compliance team nationally and pride ourselves on our level of commitment to the safety of our staff.

The compliance team is responsible for creating and administering site specific online inductions for our clients, tailored to the unique safety requirements of their site.
Verification of Certifications, Licenses and Qualifications for Employees
All certifications, licenses, tickets and qualifications are cross-referenced and verified by our compliance team prior to engagement on any site.
Development of all Staff Screening Strategies
Screening procedure for new employees is developed, implemented and enforced by our compliance team including phone screening, reference checking, interview questioning and VOC.
Drug and Alcohol Testing
Quest Compliance Managers are certified to undertake internal D&A testing at our office locations and on client sites.
Monitoring and Response to Employee Feedback Forms
Through our website, all employees are able to submit feedback about their assignment via our secure portal allowing us to better manage potential hazards and improve employee satisfaction during their assignments.
Risk Assessment of Client Sites
Quest are selective in our partnerships with clients. All new clients are risk assessed onsite for potential safety hazards prior to engaging contractors onsite. Our compliance team also conducts credit checks on all new partners as a standard.
Development of Toolbox Meeting Content
Content for toolbox meetings is constantly reviewed and updated depending on the needs of each client site. The compliance team is responsible for monitoring our toolbox meeting content and making changes as required.
Incident Response, Reporting and Subsequent Procedure Implementation
The compliance team is responsible for end to end incident reporting, investigation and risk mitigation procedure for all incidents occurring on client sites.
Candidate Care, Claims Processing and Back to Work Procedure
We pride ourselves on returning our employees to work post-injury. Quest have dedicated compliance team members tasked with guiding injured employees through the claims process, providing them with advice and facilitating their eventual return to work with us on our client sites.
Client Advisory relating to Changes in State/Federal Workplace Legislation
Our compliance team is made up of several qualified employment lawyers. These compliance professionals are experts in workplace related legislation and are constantly monitoring the industry for relevant changes in legislation in order to provide detailed reports to all clients in relation to these changes, along with advice as to how best to respond and ensure compliance on their site.
