Position: Pallet Repairer
Location: Direk, SA

Shifts Available:

Day Shift: 06:00 – 14:00
Afternoon Shift: 14:00 – 22:00
About The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pallet repairer to join our team. You will be responsible for inspecting, assessing, and repairing pallets used in our operations. Key Responsibilities

Pallet Inspection:
Thoroughly inspect pallets to identify damage, wear, and structural issues. Assess the extent of damage and determine whether pallets can be repaired or require replacement.
Repair and Refurbishment:
Use a variety of hand and power tools to repair damaged pallets, including replacing broken or weakened boards, re-nailing loose components, and reinforcing weak areas to restore structural integrity.
Quality Control:
Ensure all repaired pallets meet required quality and safety standards. Conduct checks post-repair to confirm pallets are sturdy and reliable for use.
Material Handling:
Move, stack, load, unload, and organise pallets within designated areas, ensuring correct handling to prevent damage.
Requirements:

Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence (no public transport available in the area)
Previous labouring or manual manufacturing experience
Physically fit – lifting up to 25kg required
Strong attention to detail and work ethic
Reliable with a good attitude and willingness to learn
Safety-conscious and team-oriented
Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol testing, medical assessment, and Functional Capacity Assessment
Clean Police Record
Able to provide reference check
