Greystones Antiques are opening a new store in WAGGA WAGGA and are seeking to appoint retail staff to work in our showrooms.
$35.00 plus super Monday to Friday
$42.00 plus super Saturday and $49.00 plus super Sunday.
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and energetic Retail Sales Assistant to join the Wagga Store in a casual position on a varied roster. The store is open 10 am to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday so we are flexible to offer rosters to cover this period.
As the Retail Sales Assistant you will:
• Attend to customer and greet them on arrival
• Process sales accurately (cash handling/EFTPOS)
• Assist in the demonstration or showcasing of items within the store
• Perform regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing of goods
• Help maintain a clean, tidy store environment.
• Cleaning the store, the kitchen the bathroom daily at quiet times or when customers are not present
You will have:
• Great Customer Service Skills
• Good communication skills
• Sales experience, ideally within a retail background
• High attention to detail and a flexible and willing nature
This role is a physical position requiring manual handling of furniture and other heavy items and you will also be required to access furniture and fittings using a step ladder
Training will be provided on all aspects and we do not seek anyone who is familiar with antiques. Just someone who has worked in retail or sales.
