Our client is a high profile wholesaler that is experiencing growth.

They are seeking a production coordinator to handle coordination of all product manufactured locally and overseas.

THE ROLE 

This role will be responsible for coordinating the start to end production process for on time deliveries.

Taking range and concept direction from the design team to drive product offering for on time delivery.
This role takes responsibility of product from concept to delivery
Proactively drive the approval time lines on lab dips, strike offs, trim and bulk fabric confirmation
Creating and updating all technical spec packs for product handover
Creating tech sketch range boards by category and month and update regularly
Support the creativity throughout the process to ensure on time and high quality delivery of garments
Work with team to ensure best fit and best quality of fabric, trim and finish for each garment
Problem solving production issues with offshore suppliers as they arise
Ensure critical path timelines are followed
Ensure regular communication with suppliers to ensure on time delivery
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

Previous experience working in a similar role is essential
Qualification in Fashion and Textiles is preferred
Proactive, motivated and enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Work under pressure and take directions well
Must have high attention to detail
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional relationship-building skills and ability to maintain strong relationships
Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders
Ideally have well developed negotiation skills
