The client is a modern boutique clinic founded to care for patients, our philosophy is to offer walk-in, walk-out treatments which are safer than traditional surgery, without the need for hospital admission or general anaesthetic. We place a strong emphasis on providing a warm relaxing environment for patients in addition to offering convenient hours.

About the role

You will be responsible for;

  • Managing the front desk and directing enquiries accordingly
  • Answering patient enquiries via telephone, email and through TVI’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program. You will be providing information for existing and potential patients regarding their treatment options at TVI
  • Maintaining a computerised patient management system (PMS) by scheduling patient appointments and generating accurate invoices
  • Following billing guidelines and demonstrating an understanding of Medicare rebates and billing codes
  • Maintaining a cohesive patient and workflow by scheduling appointments to make effective use of specialists’ time

The role requires a confident person who has the ability to speak to potential and current patients and assist them with understanding the recommended treatment plans. You will have a dedication to patient care and strong communication skills (in-person, over-the-phone and written). You will be able to speak about healthcare and treatment plans. Some flexibility in working hours is required to deal with surgery schedules and patient care.

You will report directly to the Medical Director and be supported by your colleagues. You will be part of a small but close-knit team dedicated to providing a superior experience for our patients.

Skills and experience

  • Medical reception/administration experience essential
  • Sales experience is recommended
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).

  • Excellent ethical behaviour and professional judgement
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the team
  • Full-time Monday to Friday
