About the Role

Our client is an Australian-owned market leader specialising in the import and export of top-quality leathers and cowhide products, with top clients across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Recent growth and market potential has created this permanent full-time position for an experienced Sales/ Business Development professional to join their team working out of the office in Collingwood, VIC.

 

Reporting to the Director, this role is primarily responsible for existing account management and identifying and acquiring potential clients. This role requires an experienced Sales and Business Development professional who is highly adaptable and flexible in working hours.

 

Duties

      • Building customer relations and seeking opportunities with potential clients,
      • Understanding the specific needs of clients,
      • Maintaining budget target,
      • Planning, reporting and forecasting sales plans,
      • Warehouse enquiries,
      • Managing account list and client database,
      • Stock management,
      • Stock selection (requires interstate travel)

 

About You

You are an experienced Sales/ Business Development professional who is customer-focused, innovative, and collaborative with flexibility in working hours.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

      • Previous sales/ business development experience,
      • Strong relationship management experience with top clients,
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite,
      • Holds a valid driver’s license.
