About the Role

Our client is a terrific Australian owned civil construction enterprise based in Smeaton Grange who employ highly qualified and experienced staff and operate a large range of specialist plant and equipment delivering a wide range of civil construction services including civil construction & Infrastructure, major earthmoving & earthworks, government & RMS works, remediation, demolition, industrial & commercial subdivisions, and residential subdivision in several areas throughout Sydney. They have experienced tremendous growth and as a result are looking to take on a full time Project Manager to join their team and assist with the delivery of key projects across their business.

Candidates MUST have experience on civil construction projects to be considered for this position.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overall management of the project and compliance with contract including time, cost, quality, safety and environmental issues.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning, organising, and managing project operations including budgets, project profitability, project cash flow, programs, production Rates, and project completion
  • Ensure adherence to Legislative Frameworks, Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems policies and procedures
  • Improve performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective leadership and coaching methods and strategies
  • Maintain a current knowledge and understanding of industry and client compliance requirements and trends regarding the operation and maintenance of plant and machinery within the Company
  • Build effective working relationships with external clients to foster effective and efficient utilisation of our plant and equipment

About You

You will be a highly experience Project Manager with proven experience, and reliability in previous roles.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience and reliability as a Project Manager
  • Experience on civil construction projects
  • Exceptional communication, relationship building, networking and people management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyse, identify and implement appropriate actions to improve project performance.
  • Ability to work with project management tools, systems and processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry related regulations
