This is a challenging, interesting, highly flexible opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer.
You will be experienced in managing payrolls (and timesheets) for both award and non-award employees.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing, analysing and enhancing the payroll function, including the accurate and timely payment and control of related records and entitlements; systems testing and processing of compliance activities, ensuring compliance to statutory regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will have previously managed (and improved) complex, manual payroll functions and be able to work well with ambiguity and complexity.
You bring a strong background of multi-state payroll processing and related compliance, including payroll tax laws for each State and Territory as well as a knowledge of Australian employment laws and EBA’s.
