Buyers Admin Assistant – Supply Chain

About the Client and Role

Our client is a major retailer of kids accessories based just outside the Melbourne CBD.

In this role you will coordinate all aspects of production and admin in relation to purchase orders as well as helping across product development.

Duties would include

  • Providing a key link between the production department and supply chain
  • Creating and maintaining product lines and purchase orders
  • Liaising daily with offshore suppliers and factories to ensure deliveries are on time
  • Supporting the Product team sample collection and freight
  • Complete costings and cost adjustment forms
  • Maintaining weekly delivery schedule

About You

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

Full working rights in Australia, as well as a double covid vaccination in line with government health mandate as well as:

  • Experience in a Supply Chain Coordinator role or similar administration role within a buying/product team is preferred
  • Confident in reading and understanding budgets and margin calculations
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and our suppliers
