The primary objective of the Administration Officer/ Receptionist is to ensure a patient focused service by provision of professional and efficient reception and administration duties.

Experience is not necessary but highly desirable 

Job tasks and responsibilities

Key tasks include but are not limited to:

  • General Administration
  • Front desk reception duties (meeting and greeting)
  • Interview patients for case histories prior to appointments
  • Update and maintain patients’ health records
  • Assist patients with initial paperwork
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments
  • Process insurance claims in compliance with law requirements
  • Use medical software to support all transactions
  • Manage receivable and payable accounts and maintain financial records
  • Answer patients’ queries and ensure quality customer service

Skills and experience

  • Be reliable, efficient and flexible  to work in a highly motivated team environment and autonomously
  • Display excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and phone manner
  • Have experience in a patient care or customer service orientated role
  • Medical Experience is desirable however not essential
