About the Role

Our client is an ASX listed blue chip logistics enterprise with operations Australia wide.

They have an exciting work from home opportunity available for an experienced transport, manufacturing or logistics professional with experience dealing in business to business transactions and customer service. You will be coordinating with major carrier companies and providing updates to our client’s large list of customers on delivery status and resolving issues on the spot.

This is a full time hours role working day shift approximately 8am-4pm on an initial 6 month contract with a view to permanency.

The role will be based primarily from home, with the scope to move to a flexible working arrangement involving the occasional check in at the offices in Erskine Park, while remaining predominantly from home.

Your duties will include:

  • Liaising with carrier companies regarding orders and delivery outcomes
  • Solving problems on the spot with carrier companies and customers
  • Update customers on order status
  • Utilise the SAP system to process transactions and orders
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders

About You

You will be an enthusiastic individual with previous experience working in a logistics coordination role in manufacturing, warehousing, transport or similar.

The successful candidate will possess:

SAP Experience (essential)

Logistics background

Experience dealing with customers and solving problems on the spot

Outgoing personality that is customer focussed
