About the Role:

Our client is an Australian owned company providing reliable logistics, freight and supply chain services to premium brands and manufacturers Australia wide.  

Candidates for these positions will have their HR or HC/MC License and have proven experience and reliability in previous positions, particularly with local deliveries as well as tautliner and load restraint practices. 

 POSITION: HR DRIVER
LOCATION: O’CONNOR
START TIME: 5.30AM
AVERAGE HOURS PER WEEK: 45-50 HOURS

SCOPE OF WORK:
  • Driving 14-16 pallet rigid trucks.
  • Trucks will be loaded with pallets of cardboards by forklift operators.
  • Drivers are required to strap their load and pull curtains open and closed. 
  • Perform pallet counts of their total load to report to office staff.
  • Sign for their loads, including pre-departure documentation.
  • Interact with customers upon delivery.

PREFERRED DRIVER ATTRIBUTES:
  • Able to reverse.
  • Be physically fit.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Friendly manner for customer interaction.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Willing to assist other drivers.
  • Able to follow instructions.
  • Flexibility to cover other sites when required (Canning Vale and O'Connor)
