About the Company:
Our clients core business comprises the manufacturing, distribution and export of advanced-technology air conditioners, heating appliances and associated componentry. Recent growth has created opportunities for Sheet Metal Workers and Sheet Metal Assistants to join their business.
Location:
Canning Vale, WA.
Roster:
Monday to Friday - (38 hours per week) - Day Shift
Pay Rate:
$30 - $35 per hour + Penalties
Duties:
Develop patters & jigs as required to improve production techniques and efficiencies.
Perform hands on production work.
Advise Quality Control Manager of any irregularities found in raw materials.
Ensure and maintain stock levels of both raw materials and finished product in line with projected production schedules. Co-ordinate and record section stock transfers where required.
Maintain a high standard of quality and integrity in all products produced.
Responsible for the final inspection of items produced.
Responsible for the safety, cleanliness, organization and presentation of the section so as to project a professional and efficient image.
Liaise with the Purchasing Manager with regard to the acceptance of raw material.
Liaise with the Dispatch Manager with regard to the dispatch of finished product.
Be familiar with raw material Safety Data Sheets for products used in the section.
Able to quote for custom fabrication.
Requirements:
Proficiency in using sheet metal fabrication tools and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and precision.
Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
Relevant certifications or licenses may be required.
