Airport Customer Service & Ramp Staff Required

Overview
An amazing opportunity to join the aviation industry - our client is looking for able and enthusiastic Airport Customer service & Ramp Staff to join their friendly team.

Location:
Townsville, QLD

Pay Rate:
$30 to $33 p/h + Super +Penalties

Roles:

Airport Customer Service
Duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Greeting customers with a smile at check-in
  • Processing and checking travel documents meet requirements
  • Assigning seats on the aircraft
  • Preparing and issuing boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers
  • Gate boarding
  • Passenger Marshalling
  • Disruption Management
Criteria:
  • Impeccable grooming and deportment.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Pass Drug, Alcohol and Audio tests (cost reimbursed after 6 months employment).
  • Capable of obtaining an ASIC card (cost reimbursed after 6 months employment).
  • Ability to work weekends and Public Holidays including Christmas.
  • Ability to work any shift from 05:00am to 11:00pm.
  • Commit to shift lengths of 4 hours per day.
  • Available for 2 weeks' full-time training.

Airport Ramp Staff
Duties will include:
  • Bag Room functions: scanning and manual handling luggage.
  • Loading / unloading baggage & freight.
  • Aircraft Receipt & Dispatch.
  • Operating Ground Service Equipment on Ramp.
Criteria:
  • Open Australian Driver's License (no restrictions)
  • ASIC Card or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work weekends and Public Holidays including Christmas.
  • Ability to work any shift from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM 
  • Commit to shift lengths between 4 - 8 hour shifts
  • Available for 2 - week full-time training (Monday - Friday)

Please note that due to the nature of this work we unfortunately can NOT accept student VISAs (Subclass 500).
