Our client is a global leader in the packaging, paper, glass, and resource recovery industries, providing high quality, innovative and sustainable packaging products, and solutions. They offer a full lifecycle of packaging capability and have been leading packaging innovation in Australia for more than a decade. They are now seeking fully qualified and skilled Fitter/Machinist or Fabrication Engineering experience to join their team.

Location:
Carrara, QLD

Hours:
40 hours p/week, Mon-Fri 

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful applicant will be required to:
  • Maintain machinery and equipment 
  • Be fully qualified
  • Carry out maintenance repairs 
  • Preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Specialised projects as directed
The successful applicant must demonstrate:
  • Ability to follow Work, Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Maintaining quality assurance and continuous improvement practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective initiative skills, decision making, and time management are essential
