About the Role

Our client is a terrific Australian-owned, family-run construction and engineering company specialising in the delivery of complex infrastructure. They have experienced tremendous growth, and as a result are now looking to take on a Project Manager with Rail project experience to join their growing team and assist on several key rail based projects across their business.

Candidates for this position MUST have strong experience on rail projects.

As a Project Manager, you will provide engineering support to field staff for all construction processes to enable delivery of the project on time and within budget.

Other Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, implement and monitor construction planning and progress, based on tender methodology, to ensure progress is on schedule and within cost estimates.
  • Prepare monthly project cost & status reports and submit to Construction Manager.
  • Manage the effective implementation of Safety, Environmental and Quality management system & procedures, and ensure work undertaken is in accordance with the requirements of the HSEQ System, Work Health & Safety Act & Regulations.
  • Determine and manage resource requirements to complete the project.
  • Manage consultant, subcontractor & supplier procurement, ensuring comprehensive scope of works are prepared and included in the tender documentation.

About You

You will be an experienced Project Manager with proven experience and reliability on rail projects.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience on Rail, and roadworks projects
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering
  • Highly developed written and oral skills.
  • The ability to make clear strategically informed decisions.
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritising tasks.
