HR / Safety Coordinator – 12 Month Contract

About the Role

Our client is a major retailer who is seeking a new member of their HR and Safety team on an initial 12 month contract. This role will have the potential to go perm in the future, either within their safety team or wider HR team.

Duties would include:

  • Assist with Covid management and administration around any cases within the work place.
  • Ensuring compliance with incident reporting and follow up with non-compliances around covid cases.
  • Assisting with injuries and compensation claims, under direction of WHS Manager
  • Assist with WHS implementation and project coordination i.e.. Preparing documents, liaising with new brands, coaching and guidance
  • Assist with coordination of Health and Wellbeing program

About You

You will be a recent graduate in HR or similar either looking for their first full time role, or a candidate with some HR experience looking to move into OHS

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

Full working rights in Australia, as well as a double covid vaccination in line with government health mandate as well as:

  • Degree in HR or equivalent OHS qualifications
  • Experience in coordination and multi-tasking
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent time management, organisation and administrative skills
  • Strong attention to detail
