About the Role

Our client is a global leader across freight, supply chain and logistics solutions with sites across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and the U.S. Due to continuous growth and business demand, they are now seeking a highly experienced Driver Recruiter to join their growing team in Albury, NSW.

Candidates for this position MUST have demonstrated experience and full understanding of end-to-end recruitment of permanent staff, preferably as part of an in-house or agency recruitment function.

Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, as a Driver Recruiter, you will be responsible for ensuring the Talent Acquisition function is maintained at the highest possible standards, recruiting the best quality employees into the business. You will ensure that talent pools are developed and maintained with a specific focus on Linehaul Drivers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and sourcing potential candidates through several online channels and job boards
  • Developing and continuing to identify sourcing strategies that deliver high quality applicants for the talent pool
  • Providing support and advice to Hiring Managers and other stakeholders as required and maintaining working relationships with external service providers
  • Monitoring print and internet ads, internal and external career site, employee referral programs and all other avenues for recruitment advertising
  • Other duties as directed

About You

You will be a highly experienced recruiter with a full understanding of end-to-end recruitment of permanent staff, preferably as part of an in-house or agency recruitment function.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role handeling permanent recruitment
  • Hands on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Social media and other sourcing initiatives
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple stakeholders in complex environments
  • Stong computer/information management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
