About the Role
Our client is a Tier 1 shipping line and forwarder with an extensive network across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. They offer key services across transport, air and ocean freight, and warehousing. Due to recent demand and business growth, they are looking for experienced Import Customer Service Officer to join their team based in Melbourne Airport VIC.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end customer service, supporting the imports department within the team

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and placing import bookings on CargoWise
  • Registering jobs in Enterprise
  • Sending booking confirmations and quotes to clients
  • Supporting KCMs in attending to clients’ import needs
  • Maintaining and delivering a high level of customer service to key clients
  • Reporting and ad hoc admin duties as required

About You
You are a highly organized and experienced shipping professional, with proven experience within customer service. You have an understanding of import operations with experience utilising CargoWise and are passionate in developing your career with a fast-growing industry leader.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in import operations,
  • Experience on Cargowise is essential,
  • Strong focus on customer service and relationship management,
  • Highly knowledgeable with MS Office Suite
