About the role
Quest Personnel are seeking experienced HC Drivers to join our clients growing team in Smithfield, NSW. As a HC Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across Victoria. This is a casual role with excellent earning potential of $43.78 an hour or more!

Depo -Site Location: Smithfield NSW, 2164

Rate: $43.78 an hour

Roster: Hours may vary as this is casual fill in driver - great opportunity to get some extra cash!

**Candidates must be flexible to site requirements.

Duties:

Drivers will be driving a HC butterfly top, walking floor trailer truck
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
Plan and navigate routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
Adhere to all relevant road traffic laws and safety regulations
Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation
Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as required
Your truck will be loaded at the transfer station via front end loader, loading into the top of the truck which butterflies open.
When you arrive at the landfill station, you will use the walking floor/hydraulics system to unload the goods which will pour out into the landfill.
These collections will be recycled goods that you would usually find in household yellow recycle bins
 

Successful Candidate:

Minimum 2 years' experience as an HC driver
Valid HC driver's licence
Previous experience with walking floor trailers, tipper or tanker trucks -Highly regarded
Willingness to learn and be training in walking floor trailer operations
Great reversing skills
Experience in coupling and uncoupling
Clean driving record
Strong driving skills and knowledge of road rules and regulations
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Good driving record with minimal to no fines/ suspensions. (MUST PROVIDE TO US)
