Our client is a well-established manufacturing business producing supermarket and retail display solutions. Due to demand and ongoing projects, they are seeking reliable Assemblers and Production Workers to join their team in Newcastle.
These roles suit people who enjoy practical, hands-on work, can follow processes, and are looking for steady, long-term employment.
About the Role
You’ll be working across both assembly and production functions, completing a range of tasks including:
Assembly Duties
Assembling cardboard display stands and product components
Using clips and fixtures to secure pre-printed materials
Palletising finished products to order requirements
Quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
Production & General Duties
Operating basic manufacturing machinery (e.g. glue machine)
Feeding materials into machinery
Removing, palletising and stacking finished products
Stock movement from production into the warehouse
Safe and efficient use of machinery
General warehouse and production assistance as needed
About You
To be successful in these roles, you’ll have:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (highly regarded)
Reliability and availability for full-time hours
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
Ability to work independently and within a team
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Solid work history with minimal unplanned absences
Clean police record
Able to pass drug & alcohol testing (including random onsite checks)
Immediate and full availability to start
